COMMUNITY PROGRAM

We have volunteers who help out in our community program distributing food hampers and other donations, cooking, gardening and serving tea and coffee. We also have volunteers who help out with our art and craft group. If you have a particular skill you would like to share we would love to hear from you.

TOGETHER WE CAN

Together We Can volunteers are matched with a group of 2 to 4 people with disabilities for social support. Mentor people who are socially isolated so that they can develop skills in independence and communication and make new friends. This is a highly rewarding role that may be challenging but is well supported and lots of fun!

CITIZEN ADVOCACY

Our Citizen Advocates are matched to an individual with intellectual disabilities who needs an advocate to help them with an issue that is causing them concern in their lives.

ADMINISTRATION

Additional help in the office is always needed, if you have some office skills and would like to help.

Please contact Heidi on hhodder@caws.com.au  or to find out more about any of our volunteering opportunities in our programs.
